Read our Step Guide to know how to install our gondola shelves.
Step 1 - Build the supporting posts
Put together the starter bay (if you are building a run of gondola shelving) or your single gondola unit by starting with its skeleton. The base structure consists of a set of posts with legs. You'll need to attach two base brackets, one on each side, for each post. The base brackets have prongs on one end that line up with slots on the posts. For a secure fit, you might need to lightly tap the brackets into place with a mallet.
Step 2 - add a bottom and top board
Insert a bottom and top rail between the first pair of posts, install the bottom board at first . All back board just stable by locker , no need screw into the posts.
Step 3 - install in the pegboard/Slatwall
While holding the two posts joint by the bottom rail, slide the slatwall pieces in from bottom to top. The posts have grooves that will secure the board after sliding it all the way down. Make sure the paint side of the pegboard is facing out. If you are building a gondola run, putting a pegboard in the first bay will help stabilise the add-on sections. For double-sided gondolas, slide one slatwall/pegboard down on each side.
Step 4 - Check the structure is level
It's now time to make sure each section is flat with a level or string. The base brackets come with adjustable feet - use your hands or a crescent wrench to adjust the bottom screws until the unit is leveled.
Step 5 - Install the kick plate and base shelf
Now place the base stand on the base brackets. Position the base at a 45℃angle, align the notches on the column with the two base brackets and lower. There are strength bars on the back of each base stand to allow our stands to hold more weight (for adults to sit on), if you are making a gondola style stand, please check that the base stands are all level before proceeding to the next step.
Step 6 - Add the shelves
It's now time to install the add-on shelves. Attach all the shelves brackets, taking care they are at the same height on each side and then fit the shelves in.
